Message	When I tried RP it gave my car lifter tick after a few hundred miles. Drained it,refilled with a different oil and the tick immediately went away. I had some more RP laying around,so to use it up I tried it again a few OCI`s down the road,and the very same thing. Lifter tick after a few hundred miles. So from then on I`ve stuck to my tried and true M1 15W50 (silver cap). Tick never came back. Try that oil and see if the tick goes away. Several members besides myself use that oil and have excellent results with it.
